CP(NSW) 2024 Main Event

AACP’s outgoing President, Sue Abrams had the privilege of attending CP(NSW)’s 2024 Main Event in Sydney on 14 November 2024, a sold-out gathering at the fabulous de Vine Food and Wine!

Attendees heard from the extraordinary Amani Haydar, an award-winning advocate, artist and author about her life experiences. Amani’s powerful story of resilience – addressing family violence, intergenerational trauma and the unyielding strength of the human spirit – left attendees deeply moved and inspired. Amani’s words reinforced the importance of fostering peaceful resolutions, even in life’s most challenging moments, which struck a chord for many of those present.

Congratulations to the successful bidders of the two pieces of Amani’s breathtaking artworks donated for auction on the evening, with all proceeds going to a charity of Amani’s choice.
